"A criminally beautiful book... in which language melts like that of a confident child redefining grammar to suit their own vibes"—Viktor Vilisov, a theater director and cultural critic.

Sciaponics is an experimental, subtle, and poetic way of plant cultivation or inter-species relation in general. This book tells a story of weaving a new hybrid practice while being a thread in this weaving at the same time.

Its genre and methodology wander from a gardening log to an affectual love letter, from an engaged study of amateur plant-growimg communities to speculative theorizing. The writing is designed to be infectious: it doesn’t just talk about sciaponics but offers everything you need to start your own journey—akin to manuals for growing cacti or caring for tree frogs—and akin to great love poems that make you long for something you don't even know yet.

While being very challenging to categorise, the book has found its readers both amongs literature communities and plant enthusiasts. It has become a topic of several workshops, reading groups, panel discussions, and reviews. In 2023, it was awarded with Andrey Bely literature prize in Prose nomination. For several months, until the sold-out, it stayed amongst the best-sellers of independent bookstores.
